Retail podcast production for consumer product brands that live on repeat purchase.
Product storytelling, founder voice, and post-purchase content, built around your product calendar instead of a generic content schedule.
Your first sale can be bought. You can pay for the click, discount the cart, and win a customer who has no particular reason to come back. The second sale is different, and it is where the economics of your brand actually live.
Someone reorders because they know something. How the thing is made, who makes it, why it costs what it costs. That is what a recurring show gives a shopper, in a channel that keeps working between launches and between sales.
Trusted by consumer-facing brands
The companies behind shows we have produced.
Your category already spends heavily on podcasts. Almost none of it goes into owning a show.
The IAB's US Podcast Advertising Revenue Study put retail at 11.3% of podcast ad revenue in 2023 and consumer packaged goods at 11.8%. Those are the two largest named advertiser categories in the study, and IAB notes retail's share is up five percentage points since 2021. Brands like yours are clearly buying podcast attention.
Almost all of that money rents thirty seconds inside somebody else's show. The audience belongs to the host, the relationship ends when the flight ends, and next quarter you pay again for the same thirty seconds.
An owned show is a different kind of asset
A show you own keeps working between launches, between promotions, and between the emails your customers have stopped opening. The back catalogue keeps earning after it is made, and the subscriber list does not reset when the budget does.
It also reaches the part of the funnel your paid media is worst at. Performance channels are built to win the first purchase. A show is built to earn the fourth one, and for most consumer brands that is where the margin actually is.

shows produced since 2014, with 50,000+ episodes across enterprise and consumer brands.
Which show gets your customers back?
Your format depends on where your brand earns trust: the founder, the product itself, or the community around it. We help you pick one and build it properly instead of hedging across all three, which is how most brand shows end up sounding like nobody in particular.
Founder-Led Shows
Put the person behind the product in front of customers on a regular cadence. Shoppers trust a named human before they trust a catalog page, and that is difficult to replicate with ad spend.
Product Education and Behind-the-Scenes
Explain how and why things are made, sourced, and designed. This format answers the questions already sitting in your reviews and support inbox, which is also where you should be getting your episode list.
Customer Community Shows
Make real customers and repeat buyers the subject of the show. It gives your loyalty programme something worth showing up for, and gives prospective buyers someone other than you to believe.
Seasonal and Launch Series
Short focused runs timed to product drops or seasonal moments. Useful if a weekly commitment is unrealistic, and a reasonable way to find out whether your brand has anything to say before committing a year to it.
Build the package your brand needs. One production partner.
Take the full stack or only the pieces you are missing. Either way it stays with one team, built around your product calendar rather than a generic content schedule.
Podcast Launch
End-to-end launch from concept to first episode live. Audience research, show identity, production setup, and a launch plan timed to your next drop instead of to nothing in particular.
Learn moreAudio Production
Editing, mixing, and mastering on every episode by degree-trained engineers, with a three to five business day turnaround and a sound your listeners recognise week to week.
Learn moreVideo Production
Video cuts and short clips from the same recording, for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube. Product and process footage travels further than a talking head, so we plan the shoot around that.
Learn morePodcast Management
A dedicated producer runs the show week to week. Guest and founder prep, recording coordination, post-production, and publishing timed to your release calendar.
Learn morePodcast Marketing
Audiograms, videograms, and full transcripts from every recording, ready for your lifecycle email and social teams to reuse. Transcripts also make your show readable to search and AI answer engines, which audio alone never is.
Learn morePodcast Hosting
One upload distributes to Apple, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music, and iHeart at once, with an analytics dashboard and an embed player for your product and landing pages.
Learn moreFood Biz Wiz, past 250 episodes and still weekly.
Resonate produces and hosts Food Biz Wiz for Alli Ball. She ran grocery at a San Francisco retailer before she started teaching packaged food brands how to sell into one. The show is built around the questions consumer product founders ask before a launch.
The number that matters there is not the download count. It is that the show has held a weekly cadence past 250 episodes. That is the part most brand podcasts never manage, and the part we are actually hired for.

Cadence: weekly, past 250 episodes
Audience: packaged food and beverage founders selling into retail

Consumer, CPG, and founder-led shows produced by Resonate.
A named consumer client show, plus two formats that translate to a retail or DTC brand.
Food Biz Wiz
A weekly show for packaged food and beverage founders working through retail shelf placement, co-packing, and wholesale growth. Hosted by Alli Ball, who ran grocery at Bi-Rite Divisadero, and produced by Resonate.
It is the closest thing on our roster to what a consumer product brand would build. A narrow audience, a host with real category standing, and a cadence that has held past 250 episodes.
Listen on Apple Podcasts →Shared Practices, Your Dental Roadmap
A practitioner show for dental professionals working through practice ownership, growth, and transition. Resonate has produced it since launch and it has built a returning audience inside a narrow niche.
A brand with one specialised product line can run this same deep-dive format for a category-specific audience rather than trying to reach every shopper at once.
Listen on Apple Podcasts →GO AI Podcast
A founder and team-led show for a marketing agency. The team wanted a consistent audio channel without building a studio or hiring a producer.
Different industry, same mechanic as a founder-led consumer brand show: one recognisable voice, a fixed cadence, and someone else handling everything after the recording stops.
Listen on Apple Podcasts →One trade-off worth knowing before you start.
A podcast will not report cleanly in your ROAS dashboard. People listen on a phone and buy later on a laptop, so attribution is directional at best. If your team only funds channels that report a last-click number, this will be a difficult internal sell.
What you can measure is repeat purchase rate among listeners, using a promo code or a dedicated landing page. It takes a couple of quarters to say anything. If your next two quarters are about hitting a CAC target, spend the money on performance and come back to this when you are working on retention.
