A manufacturing internal communications podcast that gives the plant floor a voice
Most of your workforce can’t check email at a workstation. They’re running a line, moving product, or fixing a machine.
We produce a private internal communications podcast they can play on their own time, in the app they already use. Only your people can find it.

Why doesn’t the usual mix of channels reach every shift?
You’ve probably tried the bulletin board, the email blast, the town hall, and the supervisor huddle. Each does a job, and they’re all worth keeping.
None of them’ll reach the second-shift operator who started at 3 p.m. and heard about the policy change from a coworker.
A podcast fills the gap that’s left between those channels with a voice people can replay when they have a minute.
When do plant teams actually press play?
Safety rules come first, and they’re not up for debate. Nobody should wear earbuds on an active production floor, and we won’t suggest it.
Before the shift
A short update while getting ready or in the parking lot.
On the drive
Commutes give people a quiet stretch with their phone.
In the break room
A five-minute episode fits a break.
At a desk
Engineers, office staff, and sales teams can listen between tasks.
How does a private feed work for plant crews?
Simple for employees
- Every person gets an individual feed link.
- They add it to the podcast app on their phone.
- Nothing’s new to install or log into.
Controlled by you
- We check access through a tool your company already has, like Slack.
- When someone leaves, their access ends.
- Public search on Apple, Spotify, and Google won’t list it.
One honest caveat: no audio is fully private, because anyone who can hear it can record it. We plan the content with that in mind. The details live on our private podcast hosting page.
Which episodes earn a listen on the floor?
The safety refresher
Three minutes on one hazard, told by a supervisor who has seen it happen. It sticks better than a slide deck.
The shift handoff
A weekly roundup of what changed, what’s coming, and what the next crew needs to know.
The leadership question box
Employees send in questions and a plant manager answers on air.
The line spotlight
One team explains what they build. Other departments learn who they depend on.
The new-hire welcome
A short series turns first-week information overload into something people can replay.
The quality story
A catch, a fix, or a customer complaint that taught the team something.
Can one show reach every site?

One message, every site, same time
Multi-site manufacturers know the old problem well. The corporate message reaches each plant late and a little different, and that’s frustrating.
One feed gives every site the same words together. You can also run a separate show for each site or business unit, and let employees follow the ones that matter to them.
- Leadership speaks to everyone at once
- Each plant keeps its own voice
- Combined feeds for people who want it all
How do safety, legal, and HR reviews fit in?
Manufacturing messages often need safety, legal, HR, and brand sign-off. That’s the step that usually stalls a good idea.
We’ll build it into the workflow. Reviewers listen in the app, leave timestamped notes, and approve when they’re ready. Our editors work from those notes, and nothing goes out until your approver says so.
What’ll our team take off a small comms group?
Make the show
- Podcast launch services: audiences, shifts, sites, and a rhythm you can keep.
- Podcast management: a producer lines up your leaders and gets each speaker ready.
Keep it running
- Podcast production services: engineers trained in audio clean up recordings, with most files back in 3 to 5 business days.
- Reports every 90 days show downloads, new subscribers, listening apps, and where listeners are, so you can see which sites listen.
How do you start small?
Pick one series
A common choice is a weekly shift update of five minutes or less, plus a monthly leadership question box.
Choose a trusted host
A plant manager or a long-serving supervisor tends to land well with crews.
Pilot, then expand
Record one episode, share it with a few crew leads, and hear what they’d change.
Questions from plant and corporate teams
Can people without company email join?
Yes, if you can verify them through a tool you already use. Talk to us about your setup.
Is it only for hourly workers?
No. Engineers, office staff, and sales teams use it too.
Do you book guests?
We don’t book guests. Our producers write the invitation copy, prepare each guest, and draft the questions, and your team sends the invitations.
Can we record at a plant?
Planning on-site recording is a conversation to have with your producer, since noise and safety rules vary by site.
How is this different from a video?
Audio travels. People play it on a drive or a break, and it doesn’t need a screen.
Is this the same as a brand show about our products?
No. Here we mean a show for your own people. Our corporate podcast production page covers shows aimed at customers and partners.
What does it cost?
Plans follow employee count, with episode production priced on top. The podcast cost calculator gives a ballpark, and we’re happy to walk through your headcount on a call. Pricing for the private feeds themselves is per employee, and the main internal communications podcast page explains the tiers.
Plan a plant feed that crews will play
Tell us how many plants you have, which shifts are hardest to reach, and what you most need people to hear. In 30 minutes we’ll sketch a first season. The main internal communications podcast page explains the service in full.
