Internal communications podcast for financial services

A financial services internal communications podcast for the branch, the desk, and the back office

Financial firms speak to many audiences inside one company: tellers, advisors, analysts, operations, and call centers. Each group hears news at a different time and in a different format.

We produce a private internal communications podcast that reaches them all. Your compliance team reviews every episode before it goes out.

The communication problem

Why does a policy update take weeks to reach the branch?

By the time news travels from the executive team to a branch, it has been summarized in a few emails and a handful of hallway chats.

Leaders want to explain the thinking behind a decision. Compliance wants every word to be accurate. Both goals are fair, and they’re both real.

A podcast gives leaders room to explain, and a review step gives compliance time to check.

The review step

How does compliance review fit into an internal show?

This step decides whether an internal show works at a financial firm. We’ll build it into the schedule from day one.

Before recording

  • We’ll agree on off-limit topics with you.
  • Guests are briefed, so there’s no surprise.
  • Review days get booked up front.

After recording

  • Your reviewers listen in the app and leave notes they’ve timestamped.
  • Editors cut to those marks.
  • Release waits for your approver’s sign-off.

We don’t give legal or regulatory advice. Your compliance and legal teams decide what can be said, and we’ll make their rules easy to follow.

Private by design

What does a private feed look like?

Every employee receives a personal link for the podcast app they use today. Access is verified through a tool your company already has, like Slack, so only current staff can listen.

People who leave lose access, so there’s no cleanup, and the show stays hidden from Apple, Spotify, and Google search. Our private podcast hosting page explains the options.

Compliance teams will appreciate this caveat: any listener can record an episode, so audio is never fully private. Keep market-sensitive material out, and use this channel for what you’d say at an all-hands.

Who’s listening

Contact center agents Clear explanations of new products and policies so calls go smoothly.
New hires A series to replay during a long onboarding.

Which formats fit a regulated firm?

The leadership briefing

A senior leader explains one decision per episode and the reasoning behind it.

The policy explainer

A compliance lead walks through a rule change in everyday words.

The product walkthrough

Internal teams hear what’s new before customers do.

The internal market commentary

A short weekly note from a strategist, reviewed in advance by compliance.

The team spotlight

One department explains what it does so other teams know who to call.

The culture episode

Recognition, milestones, and community work.

More than one show

Can each division have its own show?

Financial firms often need separate shows. One for advisors, one for operations, and one for leadership updates is a common setup.

Employees can follow the ones that matter, or they’ll take a combined feed. Each show can have its own approver, so a wealth review doesn’t hold up a branch update, and that’s a relief.

What we handle

What does our team do each month?

Produce

Edit and report

  • Podcast production services: our audio team edits by ear, usually within 3 to 5 business days.
  • Every 90 days a report covers downloads, subscribers, apps, and locations, which lets you compare divisions.
Choosing a host

Who should host an internal show?

The best host isn’t usually the most senior person. Teams respond to someone they’ve already learned to trust, such as a head of operations, a branch network director, or a long-serving advisor with a knack for explaining things.

Executives can appear as guests, which keeps each episode on one decision, and they’ll thank you. A co-host from compliance can help too, since they answer the “can we say that?” question on the spot.

A podcast supports required training and disclosures by adding context. It doesn’t replace them, and it shouldn’t. A short weekly show beats a polished series that stalls after three episodes.

Financial services FAQ

Questions from financial services teams

Can compliance review every episode?

Yes. Add them to the approval path, and they can listen and mark timestamps before release.

Are recordings subject to retention rules?

That depends on your firm and your regulators. Ask your compliance team, and we’ll work with the answer.

Do you book guests?

We can’t promise guests. Our producers write outreach copy, prepare every guest, and build the question list. You handle the invitations.

Can we keep a show to one division?

Yes. Each show has its own invite list.

Is this different from your public finance show pages?

Yes. This one is staff-only. Our financial services podcast production page covers shows meant for clients and the market.

What does it cost?

Plans depend on headcount and episode volume. The podcast cost calculator gives a ballpark, and we can price your divisions on a call. Pricing for the private feeds themselves is per employee, and the main internal communications podcast page explains the tiers.

Plan an internal show your reviewers will like

Tell us about your divisions, your review process, and the updates that are hardest to land. We’ll sketch a first season in half an hour. The main internal communications podcast page lays out the whole service.
