Internal communications podcast for software and technology

An internal communications podcast that puts leadership in your engineers’ ears

Tech teams are spread across offices, time zones, and home desks. They’re also tired of status emails and Slack announcements that scroll away.

A private internal communications podcast gives leaders a voice people choose to hear, in the app they already use.

One global enterprise software company’s three internal shows drew 15,600+ downloads in a single quarter.

Always-on noise

What goes wrong with always-on channels?

Software companies communicate constantly, and there’s a cost. Slack, email, wikis, standups, and all-hands calls all run at once, and the result’s noise.

Context gets lost between a thread and a calendar invite. A podcast is a calmer channel, where there’s room to think, where a leader takes five minutes to explain how a decision was made.

A real internal show

What does a working internal show look like?

One global enterprise software company runs three internal shows with us. It asked us not to name it. The shows are an engineering show, an executive interview series, and a culture and people show.

15,600+downloads across three shows in one quarter
1,280+new feed subscriptions in 90 days
Nearly 4xdownload growth for the executive series
8countries among the top listening markets

The executive series is about a year old and draws strong listening across Europe and Asia-Pacific. These figures come from Resonate hosting analytics for May to July 2026. Your show’ll look different, since your company does.

Private feeds

What does a private feed mean for distributed engineers?

01

A personal link

Every employee adds their own feed link to the app they already use. Nothing’s new to install.

02

Verified access

We’ll check access through a tool like Slack, so only current staff get in. Access ends when someone leaves.

03

Off the public map

It never appears in Apple, Spotify, or Google search.

Audio can’t be fully private, because any listener can record it. Keep unreleased product details out of the feed unless your security team’s signed off. The full options are on our private podcast hosting page.

Show ideas

Which shows suit a tech company?

The executive interview series

Senior leaders discuss strategy and product direction and explain how they think.

The engineering show

Engineers describe what they built, what broke, and what they learned. Distant teams find colleagues solving the same problems.

The product update

A product leader explains what’s shipping and why, in five minutes instead of a long document.

The culture and people show

Stories about teams and milestones that help new hires feel part of something.

The onboarding series

New engineers hear how the company works before their first sprint.

The all-hands companion

A short recap with the reasoning, for people who missed the live call.

Time zones

How does audio help a global team?

Two co-hosts talking into microphones during a recording

Everyone hears it at a decent hour

Live meetings force someone to be awake at an odd hour. An episode doesn’t, and that’s the point.

A team in Bangalore and a team in Berlin can hear the same message on their own schedules. Fewer calls, and everyone still gets the same words.

  • Separate feeds for engineering, sales, and support
  • One combined feed for people who want everything
  • Leaders reach a broad audience
Keeping it real

How do you keep it from sounding like a press release?

Tech employees spot corporate language fast, and they’ll tune out. The shows that work are conversational, specific, and a little funny. That’s the goal.

Our producers prepare each speaker with real questions and leave room for unscripted moments. Editing by ear keeps people sounding like themselves.

What we handle

What does our team handle?

Make it

Run it

  • Podcast production services: audio engineers polish each recording, with most returning in 3 to 5 business days.
  • Reports every 90 days show downloads, listening apps, and locations, plus which episode titles earn attention.
A realistic start

What should a first season include?

Start with one series, such as an executive interview show or an engineering show. Pick a host with natural curiosity.

Record a pilot, share it with a few managers, and review the first 90 days of data before adding more shows. A short biweekly show you’ve kept going beats a big launch that fades. A podcast also won’t fix a roadmap people don’t believe in. It makes the reasoning easier to hear, which is what it’s for.

Tech FAQ

Questions from tech teams

Can we share unreleased product news?

Check with your security and legal teams first. We recommend keeping anything highly confidential out of the feed.

Will engineers actually listen?

Many already use podcast apps. A short pilot will show how your team responds.

Do you book guests?

Booking guests isn’t part of our service. Producers draft the outreach note, coach each guest, and write questions. Your team sends the invitations itself.

Can we run a show for each department?

Yes. Departments can each have a feed, with a combined option for people who want it all.

Is this different from your B2B SaaS podcast page?

Yes. Here the audience is your own team. Our B2B SaaS podcast production and developer tools podcast production pages cover shows for customers and prospects.

What does it cost?

Plans scale with headcount, and episode production is priced separately. The podcast cost calculator gives a ballpark. Pricing for the private feeds themselves is per employee, and the main internal communications podcast page explains the tiers.

Put your leaders where your engineers already listen

Tell us about your teams, your time zones, and the messages that get lost. We’ll map out a first season in half an hour. The main internal communications podcast page walks through the full service.
