An internal podcast that reaches every Louisville employee, on any shift
Some of our crew lives in Louisville, so we know how split a local workday gets. Our internal communications podcast service gives every employee a private show on the phone they already carry.
The night shift at a sort hub, a hospital ward, and a downtown office can all hear the same leadership voice. Nobody outside your invite list can find it.

Why does one company message miss so many Louisville employees?
Louisville employers don’t share one schedule. A package hub runs through the night, a hospital never closes, and a plant starts before sunrise.
Big headquarters live here too. Humana and Yum! Brands both list Louisville addresses in their SEC filings, so large org charts are part of the local picture.
An all-staff email reaches whoever sits at a desk. A podcast reaches everyone else, because an episode plays on a commute, on a break, or in the parking lot before a shift.
What could a show look like at a Louisville employer?
These are ideas from our producers, not client work. Your show gets built around your own people.
The hospital system
Nurses, technicians, and administrators keep very different hours. A short show from a nurse leader and a new-hire series can each get their own feed.
The distribution hub
Logistics teams like short, practical episodes. A supervisor’s safety story takes a few minutes and plays well before a shift.
The manufacturer or distiller
A plant with a long history can record veteran stories, welcome new hires, and explain changes in everyday words.
What do the public numbers say about the workforce?
They don’t prove anyone here loves podcasts. They do show how many people work away from a desk.
That shorter commute is useful to know. We’d keep Louisville episodes brief, so a whole one fits in a drive or a break.
What does a Louisville team and studio change?
Our team
Part of our team is based in Louisville. Ask on your first call whether meeting in person suits your project.
- Everything else runs online, so a site across the river gets the same process.
- Your leaders upload files and leave notes from wherever they are.
The studio
Our studio partner is Story Louisville. They run the room, so you book your time with them.
- The studio is on the first floor at 900 East Main Street, Louisville, KY 40206.
- Would you rather record at work? A quiet conference room and a decent microphone cover a lot of shows.
What does each employee get, and what do you control?
| Who | What happens |
|---|---|
| Each employee | Gets a personal feed link and adds it to the podcast app already on their phone. There’s nothing new to install. |
| Your team | Verifies access through a tool you already use, such as Slack. |
| When someone leaves | Their link stops working, and nobody else is affected. |
| The public | Can’t find the show on Apple, Spotify, or Google search. |
| Several sites | Run one show per site, or offer a combined feed. |
| Your leaders | Get a report every 90 days with downloads, subscribers, listening apps, and listener locations. |
Which episodes could carry a Louisville flavor?
Where we work
Each month, visit a different site, from a plant floor to a downtown office, and let the people there describe it.
The heritage series
Longtime employees share early days, and newer staff learn how the company got here.
The leadership minute
A senior leader explains one decision in five minutes, in their own words.
The new-hire welcome
Short episodes that new staff can replay whenever a question comes up.
Who handles the production for a busy comms team?
Plan and record
- Podcast launch: we map your audiences and shifts, then set a rhythm you can keep.
- Podcast management: a producer books time with your leaders and sends each speaker their questions.
Edit and approve
- Podcast production services: our engineers edit by ear, and files usually come back in 3 to 5 business days.
- Reviewers listen in the app and leave timestamped notes. Nothing goes out until your approver says yes.
Where does a podcast fall short?
No show will settle a shift-bid dispute or a pay concern. It works best when it explains the reasons behind decisions.
It also needs a regular schedule. Short and weekly beats polished and forgotten.
Hospitals and other regulated employers set their own review rules. We build the schedule around them, and we never make compliance calls.
Questions from Louisville teams
Do we need to be in Louisville to work with you?
No. Most of the work happens online, and we produce shows for teams across the country. We just like hearing from local employers.
Can we record at the Story Louisville studio?
Yes. Story Louisville runs the studio, so you book time with them directly. Most teams record from their own office, and that works well too.
Do you book guests?
No, and we won’t promise guests. Producers draft your outreach notes, brief each guest, and write questions. Invitations go out from your team.
Can we cover several plants or campuses?
Yes. You can run a show per site, or let employees take one combined feed.
Is a private feed fully private?
No audio is. Anyone who hears an episode can record it. Use individual feeds for sensitive shows, and keep confidential details out of the audio.
What does it cost?
Plans scale with employee count, and episode production is priced separately. The podcast cost calculator gives a ballpark, and a call turns it into a number for your sites.
