Serving Louisville companies

Private podcast hosting for Louisville companies, so only your people hear the show

A hub that runs all night, a hospital floor, and a tasting room rarely share a channel. Our private podcast hosting gives them a single show, and only the people you’ve invited can press play.

Part of the Resonate team calls Louisville home, and the setup itself is remote. You decide how tight the lock is, and you hold the list of who’s in.

Bring episodes your team already records, or let our producers make them.

Shifts and sites

Why do Louisville company updates reach only part of the team?

Louisville employers don’t run on one clock. Freight and warehouse crews work through the night, clinical staff cover every hour, and plants don’t wait for sunrise.

A long email reaches whoever is at a desk. Everyone else hears the news secondhand, and it’s often changed by then.

Audio meets people between tasks, and they’ll play it when they’re free. The trouble is that a show on public podcast hosting can be found by anyone. A staff show shouldn’t be. That’s the gap we fill.

Three kinds of employers

What might a private show do at a Louisville company?

These are producer ideas. None of them describes a client we’ve worked with.

Hubs and warehouses

Logistics

Short briefings for the start of a shift. Carriers and temp crews can sit on their own list, apart from employees.

Hospitals and clinics

Health care

Overnight and weekend teams hear what the day shift heard. See our healthcare internal podcast page for episode ideas.

Distillers and consumer brands

Heritage and sales

A show for sales reps and new hires can carry the brand story, from how a recipe began to what’s changed this quarter.

The metro at work

How big are manufacturing and freight in the Louisville area?

Two public totals help with scale. They describe the region, and they can’t say who listens to podcasts.

81,100manufacturing jobs in the Louisville metro, September 2026 (preliminary)
161,200trade, transportation, and utilities jobs there that same month (preliminary)

Many of those jobs happen on plant floors, docks, and trucks. For those workers, a phone is often the only screen nearby.

Local team

What does a Louisville team change about hosting?

Our people

Part of our team is based here. If a face-to-face meeting suits your project, just ask on the first call.

  • Hosting itself is online, so a plant in Indiana gets the same setup as an office downtown.
  • Your leaders send files and notes from their own desks.

The studio

Our Louisville studio is run by Story Louisville, so you book the room through them. It’s on East Main Street.

  • Recording there is optional. If you’d rather not travel, a quiet conference room works fine.
  • Read about the room on our Story Louisville studio page.
Four privacy levels

How private should each show be?

Each extra layer of privacy asks a little more of the listener. Pick the level that fits what the show covers.

Option How people listen Best for
Unique RSS feed Each invite arrives by email with a personal feed that plays in any podcast app. Switch off one person, and only that feed goes dark. Company news you’d hate to see forwarded
Private RSS feed One shared link, hidden from public directories such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Amazon Music. It’s the easy way to reach a big group. Low-risk updates where reach counts most
Private embed player No feed at all. Episodes sit inside a player you embed on your intranet or training site. Courses that live behind your sign-in
Secure microsite People log in to a locked-down podcast site to listen. Programs without a portal of their own
Questions from IT

What will your IT and security folks ask?

Three people, a woman and two men, on yellow couches in a podcast studio

IT teams tend to ask the same few things, so here’s the short version.

  • Access comes through an emailed invite or Slack.
  • When an account closes, that person’s access ends, even for episodes already published.
  • Developers can use the subscribers API, so it’s easy to match the list to HR records.
  • You can run more than one private show from the same account, and every show has separate listeners.
  • A dashboard tracks downloads, subscribers, listening apps, and locations, and it’s the same one you use to manage shows.
  • Our branding can come off the player, and there’s a set of microsite themes to match yours.
  • Support means real people, reachable by live chat, phone, or a private Slack channel.
Setup

How do you start a private show in four steps?

01

Create the show

Add it in your dashboard and choose a privacy level.

02

Invite listeners

Add people by email or connect Slack, and change the list whenever your roster moves. You won’t need to ask us.

03

Upload an episode

Publish once, and you’re done. It reaches every listener who has access, wherever they play it.

04

Check the numbers

Review what got played and let that guide episode two. You’ll learn fast.

Honest limits

What can’t private hosting do?

Audio can never be completely private. Anyone listening could record it, so write each episode like an internal memo.

Hosting decides who gets in. It won’t vet the script. Your legal and HR teams make those calls. Hospitals and other regulated employers have review steps of their own, and we’ll schedule around them.

Want us to make the episodes too? Our Louisville internal communications podcast service plans, records, and edits them, with hosting included.

Louisville FAQ

What Louisville teams ask about private hosting

Do we have to be in Louisville to sign up?

No. Hosting and support run online for companies anywhere. We just enjoy hearing from local employers, and some of our team lives here.

Can every site get its own show?

Yes. Your account can hold many private shows, each with its own invite list. Managers can follow every one.

What happens when a seasonal worker or contractor leaves?

Remove them from the list and they’re out. When access follows Slack, closing their account does it for you.

Will people need to install something?

Not for the RSS options, which work in Apple Podcasts and similar apps. The embed player and microsite open in a browser.

How secure is it?

It stops casual listeners, yet a person who hears an episode could still record it. Sensitive shows belong on a unique feed or behind a sign-in.

What will private hosting run us?

Cost tracks the number of listeners, and big employers get a custom plan. Share a rough headcount when you book a call.

Who belongs on your Louisville list?

Tell us who you’re trying to reach around Louisville and what they’ll want to hear first. If you’ve got a headcount handy, great. We’ll suggest a privacy level and demo the setup. Still deciding? The podcast readiness quiz takes a few minutes.
