Launching a healthcare podcast, with time for clinical review built into the plan
You’ve got clinicians with stories worth hearing and staff who rarely sit still. Our podcast launch program helps hospitals, health systems, and practices turn that into a show.
We’ll plan the strategy, the trailer, and your first episodes around the people who sign off on what you say. Once you’re live, you’ll have a written plan for your first 90 days.

Who should a hospital or practice podcast talk to?
Pick one audience to start with. A show that’s built for one clear listener is easier to plan, and it’s easier to keep going.
Patients, families, and referring providers
A public show can explain how your teams think, what a visit looks like, or how a service line works.
- A trailer that tells new listeners what the show covers
- Episodes your team approves before they go live
- Topics picked around the questions people really ask
Clinical and non-clinical staff on every shift
Nurses, techs, front desk teams, and night crews can’t all make the same meeting. An internal show lets them catch up on their own time.
- A show kept out of public apps with private podcast hosting
- Episodes that play on a phone during a commute or a break
- Leadership updates and training that people missed
What does a healthcare launch include?
Four parts, each one planned with your review steps in mind.
Strategy
Decide who’s listening, and why they’d stay.
- Defining the audience and how the show is positioned
- A look at the shows already out there in your field
- Name, format, and how each episode is built
Brand and trailer
Make a first impression that fits your organization.
- Cover art, music, and an intro
- A trailer episode, fully produced
- Social templates ready for launch week
Production
Get the first episodes right.
- Help on recording day, plus editing, mixing, and mastering
- Video episodes and cuts built for YouTube
- Short clips and audiograms (an audio clip over a still image with light motion), plus episode cover art
Launch and growth
Go live, then know what comes next.
- Hosting, with analytics
- Listings on 20+ directories, with Apple Podcasts and Spotify among them
- A plan for launch week and a 90-day growth roadmap
Who does what during a healthcare launch?

Your clinicians bring the knowledge
Your people know medicine and they know your organization. We’ll handle the planning, the production, and the publishing, and your team keeps the final say.
- You: record, give final approvals, and bring the host
- You: choose guests, and we’ll set up the booking workflow
- You: keep leaders and reviewers in the loop
- Us: plan the show and every episode
- Us: make the cover art, trailer, and launch assets
- Us: handle editing, publishing, and distribution
- Us: review the early numbers and plan what’s next
Where does review fit in a 12‑week launch?
There are five stages, and your reviewers have a spot in each one. How fast approvals move sets the pace.
| When | Stage | What happens | Review step |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weeks 1 to 2 | Strategy | Together we pick the audience, then the show’s name, format, and episode shape. | We ask who reviews each piece and how long that usually takes. |
| Weeks 2 to 4 | Brand assets | Artwork, music, the intro, and a trailer script come together. | Each one goes to you for approval before it’s final. |
| Weeks 4 to 7 | First episodes | Your first episodes get recorded and produced. | Your clinical and compliance reviewers hear each cut before launch. |
| Weeks 7 to 10 | Launch | Your trailer and first episodes are published on the big platforms, and launch week begins. | Nothing goes out until it’s approved. |
| Through week 12 | Optimize | Early numbers get a look, weak spots get adjusted, and you receive a written 90-day roadmap. | Changes to the show go through the same sign‑off. |
Who decides what’s safe to say on air?
That’s your team’s call. Your privacy officer, legal, and compliance leads set the rules for patient information, and we follow them.
Our service carries no HIPAA claims, and we won’t certify anything for you. What we can do is give your reviewers time and a clear look at every episode before it’s public. A common starting rule is to keep patient details out of episodes entirely.
One more honest note. A launch can give you a show that’s thought through, well produced, and simple to find. No one can promise it’ll be a hit. Not sure you’re ready? The readiness assessment is a quick check.
Who keeps the show going after week 12?
Most launches turn into a longer production partnership, often 6 to 12 months. You pick the pieces you’d like.

Questions from hospitals and practices
How long is a typical healthcare podcast launch?
Plan on roughly 8 to 12 weeks, counting from kickoff to your first public episode. In healthcare, the biggest factor tends to be how quickly your clinical and compliance reviewers can turn things around.
Can you build our review process into the schedule?
Yes. First we find out who approves what and how long they need. Each stage is then timed around those answers. Nothing goes live until your team approves it.
Do you handle HIPAA or patient privacy for us?
No. Your privacy officer and legal team own those decisions, and we follow their rules. Our healthcare podcast production page explains how review works once a show is running.
Can we launch a private show for our staff?
Yes. We launch shows for internal audiences on private feeds, so they don’t show up in public podcast apps. Staff on any shift can listen when it suits them.
Does every launch include a trailer?
Yes. A produced trailer is part of every launch. We’ll handle setup and submission for your listings on 20+ directories, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube.
What do we need from our clinicians?
Someone who knows the topic, who’s at ease on a mic, and who can give one to two hours per episode. We’ll suggest recording gear and take it from editing through distribution.
