For hotel, restaurant, and travel teams

One private show for hotel and restaurant teams, whichever shift they work

Housekeepers, front desk teams, servers, and line cooks rarely share a break room, let alone an inbox. A hospitality and travel internal communications podcast from us gives all of them one private show.

We plan it, host it, and keep the audience to your own staff. They play it in the app that’s already on their phone, so there’s no new tool to learn.

Many properties, many shifts

Why does the company message thin out before it reaches the floor?

A hotel group or restaurant company is built from lots of small teams. Each property has its own manager, its own routines, and its own way of passing news along.

By the time a service standard reaches the breakfast shift, it’s been retold a few times. Housekeeping starts early. The front desk covers odd hours. Banquet crews are busiest when everyone else is off.

One all-staff meeting can’t catch them all, and a long email only reaches whoever’s near a screen. Audio travels with people. They can press play before a shift, on the way in, or on a break.

Who it reaches

Who on a hospitality team could press play?

These pairings are only a starting point, and you’ve got the full picture of your teams.

Team What they could hear How it fits their day
Housekeeping The reasons behind a new standard, from the person who set it. Plays before the shift or on the way in.
Front desk and reservations New offers and policy changes before guests start asking. Plays on a break or at home.
Servers, bartenders, and kitchen crews A welcome from the chef or owner, and the story behind a menu change. Plays off the clock, where it’s quiet.
General managers Operational updates in a show of their own. Kept apart from the staff-wide show.
Seasonal hires The brand story and service standards, before day one. They’ll replay it as often as they like.
A quick safety note: nobody should wear earbuds in a busy kitchen or mid-service, and we wouldn’t suggest it. Your own policy decides when listening is fine.
Private feeds

How would a private feed reach a hotel or restaurant group?

For each team member

  • Each person receives a link that’s theirs alone, and they drop it into their usual podcast app.
  • Nobody downloads anything new or remembers another password.
  • New episodes appear alongside the other shows they follow.

For your team

  • Access runs through a tool you’ve already got, like Slack.
  • Once someone leaves, their link goes dead. Everyone else carries on.
  • Public search can’t find it on Apple, Spotify, or Google.

A fair warning: no show is completely private, since a person who can hear an episode can also record it. Leave guest details and confidential items out. The access options are laid out on our private podcast hosting page.

Episode ideas

What could a hospitality show sound like?

Think of these as sparks from our producers. They aren’t client work, and your show will take shape around your own places and people.

The brand story

A founder or senior leader explains why the place exists, so new staff know what they’ve joined.

The guest moment

A team member tells a story about an interaction that went well. It’s a lesson without a lecture.

The standards minute

A quick explanation of one service standard, and why it’s there.

The property tour

Each episode visits a different location and meets its team, so a distant site gets to meet its neighbors.

The open mic

Staff send in questions, and a general manager answers them on air. Nobody’s left guessing.

The recognition roundup

Colleagues say thanks, and a producer edits the notes into a brief, warm episode.

Seasons and turnover

How does it help when staff come and go in waves?

Onboarding before day one

Summer resorts, holiday weeks, and event seasons bring in people who need to learn fast. A short series covers the brand’s tone, your service standards, and the story behind the place. It’s a calm way to start a busy first week. New hires can replay it before the first shift, and managers don’t have to repeat the basics.

Access that follows the roster

You can add or remove listeners one at a time when your roster shifts. Link access to Slack, and it ends the day someone leaves, even for episodes that are already out.

What we handle

Who makes the show for a small comms team?

The resonate team gathered around a lit r sign

Hospitality communications teams are lean and busy, so we’ll handle the production.

  • Podcast launch: we map your properties, seasons, and audiences, then propose a rhythm you can keep.
  • Podcast management: a producer books your managers and prepares every speaker.
  • Podcast production services: engineers edit by ear so everyone sounds natural. The usual wait for an edit is 3 to 5 business days.
  • Approvals: legal, HR, and brand reviewers can play a draft, mark the moments they’d change, and approve it. Nothing is released before your approver says yes.
  • Reports: every 90 days you’ll find download, subscriber, app, and location numbers waiting, plus our suggestions.
Honest limits

What won’t a show change?

A show can’t stand in for a good manager or a fair schedule. What it gives you is a human voice and the reasoning behind a decision.

It’s got to keep a steady rhythm too. A short weekly or biweekly episode beats a big monthly one that slips.

Start small, we’d say. Choose one story every property should hear, like the brand story or a new service standard. Ask someone warm to host, record one pilot, and let a few managers react before you go further.

Looking for a show aimed at guests and the market instead? Our hospitality and travel podcast production page covers that.

Hospitality FAQ

Questions from hospitality teams

Do housekeepers and kitchen staff really listen?

We can’t promise it. A short pilot shows how your teams respond, and you’ll know that before you plan a full season.

Can seasonal staff be added and removed?

Yes. Listeners come and go one at a time, and linking access to Slack ends it automatically when someone leaves.

Can each brand have its own show?

Yes. Every brand can have a feed and listener list of its own, or staff can pick one combined feed that carries everything.

Do you book interview guests for the show?

We don’t. Outreach copy, guest briefings, and question lists come from our producers, and your team sends the invites.

Could hotel or restaurant guests hear it?

No. Only invited staff can play it. A public show for guests has different goals, and we’d build it differently.

What does it cost?

The price follows headcount and episode count. Our podcast cost calculator offers a first estimate, and thirty minutes with us firms it up for your company.

Let’s get every property on the same page

Tell us about your properties, your seasons, and the stories you’d like every team to hear. We’ll listen first. Thirty minutes is enough to outline a first season. Not sure where you stand? Try the podcast readiness quiz.

No pitch deck, just a conversation with a producer.
