Serving Los Angeles businesses

Podcast production for Los Angeles companies, with an engineer on every episode

You’ve got the conversation recorded. We’ll take care of the cuts, the levels, and the room noise, then hand back a file that’s ready for every app. That’s what our podcast production services do for Los Angeles teams.

We serve Los Angeles companies online, so location never comes up. Record in Burbank, El Segundo, Long Beach, or a spare room downtown, then upload, and the same team picks it up.

Bring a raw file to the call. We’ll tell you what we’d fix.

Who we hear from

Which Los Angeles teams get the most from a podcast?

Los Angeles has a few big industries that suit audio well. Here’s how a show can work in each one.

01

Media and entertainment

People who work in film, TV, and music hear a sloppy edit right away. A clean mix lets your guests’ ideas carry the episode, and nobody gets stuck on a hum in the room.

02

Ports, freight, and logistics

Lots of people in freight, warehousing, and trucking spend the day away from a desk. They can play an episode in the truck cab or on a break, with no screen needed.

03

Health care

Hospitals and clinics run around the clock. A show can carry updates or expert talks that staff catch between shifts. Your own reviewers sign off first, and we’ll plan the schedule around them.

What we do to every episode

What do editing, mixing, and mastering fix?

Three passes, and a person does each one. Here’s what each pass takes care of.

Pass What we handle What listeners notice
Editing Long pauses, filler words, false starts, and distractions come out. Any cuts you request get made, and your intro, outro, and sponsor spots go in. The episode keeps moving, and nobody hears the stumbles.
Mixing Voices and music get balanced, and room noise comes down. Every speaker is clear. Nobody’s too loud or too quiet.
Mastering We set the final volume to the level podcast apps expect (-16 LUFS, the unit apps use for loudness), then tag the file. It plays at a steady level on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or YouTube.
Los Angeles by the numbers

How big are the industries behind these shows?

Two public job counts for the metro give a sense of scale.

187,000jobs in the information sector, which covers film, TV, music, and publishing
1,047,900jobs across trade, transportation, and utilities, including freight and warehousing

Together, that’s more than a million jobs. A good share of that work happens on a set, a dock, or a route, where earbuds are easier than a screen.

These figures describe the metro. They aren’t a client list, and they can’t predict how any one show will do.

Who actually edits a Los Angeles episode?

An engineer who listens to the whole thing

AI editing tools are quick, and some shows do fine with them. They follow rules, though, and they can’t tell when a pause is part of the joke.

Our engineers have produced podcasts for brands, nonprofits, universities, and independent hosts since 2014. They’ll catch a word clipped too close, or a laugh that falls flat once the gap around it is gone.

  • A person hears every second of every episode.
  • Your team won’t need to learn an editing app.
  • Bring a recent episode to your call, and we’ll talk through what we’d change.
Step by step

How does an episode get from your mic to every app?

It all happens online, so it doesn’t matter which side of the 10 you record on. Our client process page has the longer version.

01

Send the raw file

Upload it through the Resonate app, and add a note about any cuts you’d like.

02

An engineer takes it

They edit, mix, and master the episode, from the first second to the last.

03

You listen and sign off

We’ll email you when it’s done. Leave comments in the app, or approve it there.

04

Hit publish

The tagged file goes straight up to Spotify, YouTube, or whichever app you use.

Editing tiers

Which editing tier suits your recordings?

An engineer mixes and masters on every tier. What changes is how hands-on the edit gets.

Basic, when the cuts are done

Your episode is already edited. It just has to sound right.

  • Mixing and mastering, with no content editing
  • Raw recordings up to 120 minutes long
  • Back in 3 business days

Plus or Pro, when we do the editing

You’d rather skip the back and forth.

  • Plus: full editing with a mix and master, for raw audio up to 60 minutes, including a set number of edit and revision requests
  • Pro: everything in Plus for up to 70 minutes, with a dedicated team and an account representative
  • Plus takes 3 business days, and Pro gets priority turnaround that’s often faster
Cost moves with your episode count, episode length, and anything custom. We’ll go over it on a short call.
Add more later

What if you’d like video or clips too?

Plenty of shows start with audio and add more once the routine settles. Our video podcast team edits YouTube-ready episodes from the same recording.

Want short clips, captioned posts, and transcripts from each episode? That’s what podcast marketing covers. Starting from scratch instead? The launch program helps you settle the name, format, and trailer first.

Want a rough monthly range? Our cost calculator gives you one after 10 quick questions, in roughly two minutes.

Los Angeles podcast FAQ

What Los Angeles teams ask us

Do you have a studio or office in Los Angeles?

No. We serve Los Angeles companies online, and every step happens remotely. You record wherever suits you, then upload the file to us.

How long does editing take for a Los Angeles show?

Usually 3 to 5 business days. Basic and Plus take 3 business days, while Pro gets priority turnaround that’s often quicker. Timing begins when every file and note has reached us.

What’s the difference between an edit request and a revision request?

You make an edit request at upload, say to drop a story that wandered off topic. A revision request is a change you ask for after hearing our first edit. Each tier includes a set number of both.

Do you produce shows for media, logistics, or health care companies?

Yes. We produce business and branded shows, plus podcasts for nonprofits, universities, and independent hosts. In health care and other regulated fields, your reviewers have the final say, and we’ll plan around their sign-off.

What makes podcast editing high quality?

Clear voices at even levels, no distracting noise, cuts nobody can hear, and a final file at the volume apps expect. Each of those takes a trained ear as well as software.

What does a Los Angeles podcast cost to produce?

That comes down to your episode count, their length, and anything custom you’d like. We share pricing on a short discovery call, once we’ve heard what your show needs.

Got a raw episode sitting in a folder?

Bring it to a call, polished or rough. We’ll point out what we’d fix and which tier makes sense, then talk cost.

Thirty minutes with a producer, and no slides.
