Serving San Francisco businesses

Video podcast production for San Francisco software and tech companies

Your founders and engineers explain hard ideas well. We shape those talks into video episodes that sound clean, carry captions and graphics, and are ready to post.

Our video podcast production serves San Francisco companies online. Record wherever your team sits, upload the files, and a polished episode comes back for review.

Got a recording from a product review? Share it, and a producer will tell you what they’d fix first.

Why put a camera on it

Who watches a software company’s podcast?

A funded team’s talking to several audiences at once. One episode on screen can reach them all, and that’s the appeal.

Customers

Buyers who want to meet the people

A prospect can watch your team reason through a problem before the first demo call. Faces and voices tend to build trust faster than a feature page does.

Investors and partners

People sizing up how you think

A conversation shows how your leaders handle a tough question. That’s hard to get from a pitch deck.

Future hires

Engineers choosing where to work

Candidates can hear how your people talk about the work and each other. It’s a fair preview of the team they’d join.

Inside each episode

What comes back after you upload?

Take every piece, or just the ones you’ll use. All of it comes from the footage you’ve already shot.

Piece What we do Where it helps
Audio production We edit, mix, and master every voice, so the volume holds steady on every app. A guest who’s on a laptop mic still sounds clear.
Video editing Mistakes come out, the color gets graded, and the file exports in 1080p or 4K. Your team looks good wherever it’s watched, from a laptop to a conference room display.
Graphics Intro and outro bumpers, transitions, a name title for each speaker, and on-screen pop-ups. A viewer can keep up with a long list or an unfamiliar acronym.
Closed captions A separate .srt file that goes up to YouTube beside the full episode. Viewers can switch it on when they’re in a quiet coworking space.
Burnt-in captions Words burned into the picture itself, which suits short clips. People scroll LinkedIn with the sound off.
The Bay Area in numbers

How crowded is the Bay Area for tech voices?

Two public numbers show how much talent and money you’re surrounded by.

7.2%of San Francisco-Oakland area workers hold computer and math jobs, compared with 3.4% of workers nationwide (May 2024)
52.4%share of all US venture deal value that landed in the San Jose-San Francisco-Oakland area during 2025

Many people you’re trying to reach build software for a living. They’ll notice thin sound and fuzzy explanations fast, and they’ll reward a clear one.

These figures show a busy field. They don’t prove that any show will win it.

Sound and picture together

Why should one team handle both?

A woman and a man at desk microphones smiling at a laptop

Plenty of tech podcasts look sharp and sound thin. The usual cause? Two editors who don’t talk to each other.

We’ve been making podcast audio since 2014. A video episode gets the full audio treatment our audio-only shows get.

  • Sound and picture are edited side by side, so they stay in sync.
  • Your team uploads once and reviews once.
  • Send audio to us today? Adding video won’t change your app or your review.
Show ideas

Which video show fits a funded software company?

They’re starting points. Pick a format your people can keep up all season, because you’ll want a steady schedule.

Shows for the market

  • A founder answering the questions customers keep asking.
  • Engineers walking through how a feature came together.
  • Customers and partners swapping stories about a problem they both had.
  • Clips from our podcast marketing team for LinkedIn and YouTube.

Shows for your own team

  • Leaders explaining roadmap changes to staff in different offices.
  • A new-hire series, kept private with an internal podcast for software teams.
  • Product reviews that people in other time zones can watch later.

How it works

From raw files to a published episode in four steps

Everything happens online, so nobody’s crossing the Bay with a hard drive. The production process page walks through each handoff.

01

Upload your files

Add your raw video and audio to the Resonate app, and leave notes on anything you’d like fixed.

02

We produce it

Audio and picture get edited as a pair, so the sound lines up with the screen.

03

Review and approve

You’ll get an email when the cut is done. Comment on what to change, or sign off inside the app.

04

Publish

Put the long episode on YouTube and Spotify, then pass the clips to the feeds your buyers read.

Before you record

What gear does a San Francisco team need?

Less than you’d expect, and no studio. Most people do well with a webcam or camera, soft light in front, and a proper microphone.

We’ll recommend a kit for each desk and budget. Curious about money first? The cost calculator linked in the FAQ below gives a range in about two minutes.

Video podcast FAQs

What San Francisco teams ask us

Do you have a studio in San Francisco?

No, and there’s no office either. We work with San Francisco companies online. Your team records on its own gear and uploads the files, and we take it from there. Ask us for equipment ideas that fit your room.

Will the same people handle sound and picture?

Yes. Every video episode comes with audio production, so one team polishes the voices as it cuts the footage.

Which captions should we use, closed or burnt-in?

Use closed captions on full YouTube episodes, since viewers can turn them on or off. Use burnt-in captions on short social clips, where many people watch with the sound off.

Where can we publish a video podcast?

The two main homes are YouTube and Spotify, and we prepare files for each. Our podcast hosting can send the audio version to every other app.

Can one recording become short clips too?

Yes. We’ll cut short social clips from that same footage, so it’s one shoot for everything. Each one can carry burnt-in captions for sound-off viewing.

What will a video podcast cost us?

Cost follows how often you release episodes and how much you’d rather not do yourself. The cost calculator gives a range, and a producer can go through the details with you on a call.

Ready to get your founders on screen?

Share a recent recording or a rough cut. We’ll walk you through our plan for it and the effort involved.

Thirty minutes. No pitch deck.
