For banks, wealth firms, and insurers

Private podcast hosting for financial services firms that decide exactly who listens

Our private podcast hosting gives a bank, wealth manager, or insurer a show that’s closed to everyone you haven’t invited. Advisors, branch staff, and claims teams play it in the podcast app they’ve already got.

Episodes reach the feed only when your team uploads them, so your compliance review stays where it is today. You choose the privacy level and manage the listener list yourself.

Why a private feed

Why would a financial firm keep its podcast off public apps?

Leaders at financial firms explain a lot. There are product changes, policy updates, and the thinking behind a tough call. Advisors and branch teams want those reasons before a client asks.

Audio suits people who spend the day between meetings and calls. An episode fits into a drive to a client, a walk at lunch, or a slow half hour at the desk.

An ordinary show on public podcast hosting is made to be found by anyone with a search bar. A staff show for a regulated firm needs the opposite: a short, known list of listeners.

Four privacy levels

Which access level fits which kind of episode?

Tighter privacy tends to add a step for the listener. Match the level to how sensitive the content is.

Tight access, any app

Unique RSS feed

Every listener gets a feed of their own by email and plays it in their regular app. If an advisor leaves, you switch off that one feed and nobody else notices.

Group access, any app

Private RSS feed

Everyone shares one feed that’s hidden from Apple, Spotify, and Amazon directories. It’s quick to roll out to a big group, so save it for low-risk updates.

Tight access, your intranet

Private embed player

No RSS feed exists. You place the player on your intranet or learning system, so it’s ideal for training that already sits behind the firm’s login.

Tight access, sign-in site

Secure microsite

There’s no feed here either. People log in to a password-protected show site, and that’s handy when a program doesn’t have a portal yet.

Review before release

Where does compliance review fit in?

The short answer: before anything goes out. Here’s how that works in each setup.

When your team makes the episodes

  • Your reviewers sign off using the process you already follow.
  • Nothing appears in a feed until someone on your team uploads it.
  • You can split sensitive and everyday content into separate shows.

When our producers make them

  • You tell us up front which subjects are off the table, and we brief speakers to match.
  • Reviewers play each draft in the app and drop notes at exact timestamps.
  • Editors fix what’s flagged. Nothing’s released until your approver signs off.

Regulatory judgment stays with your firm. Your compliance and legal teams set what’s allowed and which records to keep, and our process follows their lead.

Who it reaches

Who inside a bank or insurer could use a private show?

Treat these pairings as a first draft. You’ll know your own teams better than we do.

Audience What they could hear Access that fits
Advisors and relationship managers Strategy and product context from leadership, in a format that fits a drive. Unique feed
Branch and contact center staff The reasons behind a new product or policy, before customers start calling. Unique feed
Operations and back office Regular updates from executives they rarely hear from directly. Private feed, or a show of their own
New hires A welcome and orientation series they can replay as questions come up. Embed player in your learning system
Agents and brokers Only the briefings meant for an outside network. Its own show, with a list kept apart from staff
Controls IT asks about

What lets you keep control of the listener list?

The resonate team gathered around a lit r sign

IT and security teams usually ask the same few questions. Here’s what sits behind the account.

  • Listeners join by email invite, or sign in through Slack.
  • When someone leaves, access ends with their account, even for episodes already published.
  • A subscribers API lets developers tie access to your HR or member records.
  • Several private shows can share one account, and each keeps its own listeners.
  • Downloads, subscribers, apps, and listener locations all show up in one dashboard, with extra detail from the embed player.
  • The embed player can drop our branding, and microsite themes can match yours.
  • When something’s unclear, you’ll reach a person on live chat, by phone, or in a private Slack channel.
Getting started

How do you launch a private show?

01

Create the show

Open your dashboard, add a show, and choose its privacy level.

02

Add listeners

Invite people by email or connect Slack. The list can change whenever your org chart does.

03

Publish

Upload an approved episode once. It reaches every listener’s app, your player, or your microsite.

04

Read the numbers

Check downloads and listening apps, then shape the next episode around what people played.

Hosting or full service

Do you want hosting alone, or the episodes too?

Hosting only

Your team records and edits, and we keep every episode private. It’s a good fit when someone in-house already produces audio.

Hosting plus production

We plan the episodes, record them with your speakers, and edit them, with private hosting bundled in. The internal communications podcast service covers that whole setup.

Honest limits

What can’t private hosting do for a regulated firm?

Any listener could record what they hear, so think of an episode as an internal memo. We’d leave market-sensitive or confidential details out entirely.

Hosting decides who can listen. It doesn’t check what’s said, and it won’t replace required disclosures or formal training.

If your IT or compliance leads have questions, invite them to the call. We’ll answer what we can and say so when something’s outside our lane.

Financial services FAQ

What financial firms ask about private hosting

Can we remove an advisor’s access when they leave?

Yes. Take people off the list one by one, or link access to Slack so it closes when their account does. Developers can also manage the list through the subscribers API.

Can compliance approve episodes before they go live?

Yes. With hosting only, nothing is published until your team uploads it. If our producers make the show, reviewers listen in the app and approve each episode first.

Do record-keeping rules apply to these episodes?

It varies by firm and by regulator, so it’s a question for your compliance team. Once they’ve answered, we’ll set things up around it.

Can we run separate shows for advisors and operations?

Yes. One account can hold several private shows, and each one keeps its own listener list.

Is this for client-facing finance shows too?

No. This page covers shows for invited listeners. Our financial services podcast production page covers public shows for clients and the market.

What does private hosting cost a financial firm?

Price follows the size of the audience you’re reaching, and big firms get a custom plan. Book a call with your headcount, and you’ll get a quote that fits it.

Tell us who should be on the list

Give us a rough picture of your listeners and what they should hear first. We’ll suggest a privacy level and walk you through setup. Not sure a show fits yet? The podcast readiness quiz can help you decide.

It’s thirty minutes, and your compliance lead is welcome to join.
