Like so many people around the world, the Resonate team has been keeping a close watch on the unfolding events with the coronavirus outbreaks here in the US, specifically as it relates to our home state of Kentucky.
As more cases are getting confirmed we are keeping close tabs on daily updates to see what moves need to be made to keep this thing as contained as possible.
What is Resonate’s Response to the Coronavirus?
In light of the continued spread of the disease, our leadership team has taken time to review what we can do to play a small part in helping to mitigate the spread.
How? By providing the opportunity for our team members who may feel ill the ability to take time to rest and self-care and contain the spread germs (corona or otherwise) we’re helping people do what’s most needed; take time to rest.
We are also seizing the opportunity to encourage all of our team to transition to working completely remotely effective Monday the 16th.
What Does This Mean for Podcast Production?
Thankfully every part of our sales, onboarding and production process can be done 100% remotely so we are confident that this transition will have minimal to no disruption.
That being said we are seeing a large uptick in the number of podcast episodes that people are submitting for production.
Why? Podcasts will continue to be a mainstay for people’s daily media consumption, especially during these tough times of isolation.
We will continue to work hard to maintain normal production on as much content as we are able and will pull in all human resources as we can to keep production moving.
If for any reason your episode will not be completed within our standard 72-hour turnaround, our team will reach out to you. If this is the case, we appreciate your patience.
What Can Resonate Do To Help People During These Times?
Podcasting is THE MOST ACCESSIBLE way to get a message out for people to hear. With the inevitable changes happening in today’s workplace, large and small businesses are looking for ways to transition their teams to work remotely while still maintaining good communication.
An area of Resonate’s specialty is helping businesses utilize internal podcasts to maintain their interaction and have a platform for providing their teams important, up-to-date details that keep businesses moving.
Internal podcasts allow businesses to communicate with their teams locally or internationally and provide effective tracking analytics to see who is listening to the message.
External and branded podcasts allow businesses to communicate with the world and have a lifeline. It even enables them to helps others know how they are navigating the disruptions to the pandemic.
