1. Delivery

Turnaround Time

General

Turnaround times for all services listed below do not include major United States Holidays, weekends, or quarterly Resonate Recordings development days. A notice will be given to clients via email or posted as a notification in the web app for upcoming Holidays and quarterly development days.
The Turnaround times listed below are dependent on receiving all necessary materials for production to begin. All pertinent files (recorded and written) and assets must be submitted prior to production beginning on your episode or content.
“Business Hours” is defined as Monday through Friday 9 am – 5 pm EST

Audio Production

Delivery timelines for audio production services are as follows:

Standard, Premium: 72 business hours
Enhanced, Enterprise, Podcast Audio Trailer: 120 business hours
Custom: 120+ business hours based on the complexity of content
Multiple episode submissions on the same day or within 24 hours of each other may require an additional 48-72 hour turnaround time

Audio Production Revisions

Delivery timelines for audio production revisions are as follows:

Standard, Premium, Enhanced, and Enterprise: up to 72 business hours from the time of revision request in the Resonate app
Custom and Podcast Audio Trailer: up to 120+ business hours (from time of revision request in the Resonate app based on the complexity of the request
*Failure to request revisions as noted in these terms of service may result in a delayed turnaround on your revision request

Video Production Services

Delivery timelines for video production services are as follows:

Basic Video: 120 business hours
Advanced Video and Podcast Video Trailer: at least 120 business hours, based on the complexity of content
If video production also includes audio production, additional time may be needed in addition to the turnaround time stated for video production, depending on the level of audio production selected.
Multiple episode submissions on the same day or within 24 hours of each other may require an additional 48-72 hour turnaround time.

Video Production Revisions

Delivery timelines for video production revisions are as follows:

Basic Video: Up to 72 business hours from the time revision request is made in the Resonate app
Advanced Video and Podcast Video Trailer: up to 120+ business hours from the time revision request is made in the Resonate app based on the complexity of the request
*Failure to request revisions as noted in these terms of service may result in a delayed turnaround on your revision request

Website Design

Delivery timelines for initial website production is as follows:

Basic Website: 10 business days (240 business hours) from the time all required content is provided to the Resonate Recordings team
Custom Website: 21 business days (504 business hours) from the time all required content is provided to the Resonate Recordings team

Website Design Revisions

Basic websites at Resonate come with 2 rounds of revisions. A “Round of revisions” is defined as one set of revisions submitted at the same time.

Round one of revisions includes up to 10 requests.
Round two of revisions includes up to 10 requests.

Revisions can be submitted through a comment in the Resonate app or via email to your Client Coordinator. We recommend taking 24-48 hours to review your website, compiling the list of revisions in a Google Sheet or Word document, then sending the full round of revisions once you feel confident you’ve covered all the changes you wish to make.

Please send your revisions to our team within 48-72 hours after you receive access to the site to make sure our team can return your site as efficiently as possible to help meet your deadlines.

Custom Websites at Resonate come with 3 rounds of revisions. A “Round of revisions” is defined as one set of revisions submitted at the same time.

Round one of revisions includes up to 20 requests.
Round two of revisions includes up to 10 requests.
Round three of revisions includes up to 5 requests.

Please send your revisions to our team within 48-72 hours after you receive access to the site to make sure our team can return your site as efficiently as possible to help meet your deadlines.

Delivery timelines for website production revisions are as follows:

Basic Website: 5 business days (120 business hours) from the time all required content is provided to the Resonate Recordings team
Custom Website: 10 business days (240 business hours) from the time all required content is provided to the Resonate Recordings team
*Failure to request revisions as noted in these terms of service may result in a delayed turnaround on your revision request

Show Notes and Social Content

Delivery timelines for Basic Show Notes, Social Images, Audiograms, and Transcriptions are 48 business hours from the time of the approval of the episode master in the Resonate app
Delivery timelines for Social Images and Audiograms with added transcription, Advanced Show Notes, as well as Basic Shows Notes on episodes over 60 minutes are at least 72 business hours from time of the approval of the episode master in the Resonate app based on the length and the complexity of the request

Show Notes and Social Content Revisions

Delivery timelines for Basic Show Notes, Advanced Show Notes, Social Images, Audiograms, and Transcriptions revisions are up to 48 business hours from the time of the revision request in the Resonate app
Failure to request revisions as noted in these terms of service may result in a delayed turnaround on your revision request

Creative Content (Artwork, Music, and Voiceover) and Revisions

Delivery timelines for all Creative Content services (Podcast Artwork, Custom Podcast Artwork, Podcast Music, Custom Podcast Music, and Voiceover) will be based on your correspondence with the Resonate Recordings team through the sales and onboarding process. While we formally request at least 2 weeks (240 business hours for this creative process, we are happy to expedite these processes as we are able when needed. While we cannot guarantee an expedited turnaround on creative content, please speak to a Resonate Recordings representative to learn what options you may have.

Posting

Audio Production and Video Production

Resonate will post approved episode masters to your hosting platform only when requested to do so by choosing the “Episode Posting” add-on at the time of submission. Posting requests must be clearly requested in the app at the original time of submission or must be clearly indicated as a subsequent comment on the episode comments. You are responsible for providing the posting date and time to the Resonate team prior to posting.
Your hosting credentials must be provided to Resonate at least 48 business hours prior to the posting of the first episode. All approved episodes to be posted by Resonate must be approved in the app (by clicking the “Approve” button and then commenting in the episode) by close of business the day before it is scheduled to post. If you do not indicate the episode is approved, Resonate will not post the episode until confirmation of approval is received.
Posting approval received outside of normal business hours (9:00 am-5:00 pm EST) will be marked as received at open of business the following business day and will be posted at first availability.
Failure to request revisions as noted in these terms of service may result in a delayed turnaround on your revision request.

2. Additional Fees

Audio Production

RAW Overage

RAW overage fees for Premium, Enhanced, and Enterprise audio production services:

Our pricing is based on the production of podcast episodes with a RAW audio length of 60 minutes or less. Production on Premium, Enhanced, and Enterprise episodes with RAW audio that is greater than 60 minutes is subject to a $30 charge for each additional 15 minutes of RAW audio, plus an additional 2 business days based on the production level of your episode.

1 to 60 mins. = no surcharge
61 to 75 mins. = $30 surcharge
76 to 90 mins. = $60 surcharge
91 to 105 mins. = $90 surcharge
106 to 120 mins. = $120 surcharge
121 to 135 mins. = $150 surcharge
136 to 150 mins. = $180 surcharge
151 to 165 mins. = $210 surcharge
166 to 180 mins. = $240 surcharge
181+ mins. is subject to approval by Resonate Recordings prior to production

Rush Requests

You may request a rushed turnaround of your audio production at the time of submission. A rush request is not guaranteed and is subject to Resonate Recordings’ production capacity at the time of submission. If your rush request can not be delivered then the rush fee will be credited to your account. Delivery of an episode master sooner than the standard turnaround time for the production level of your episode will constitute a rushed delivery. Rush fees for audio production are as follows:

Standard: $75/request
Premium, Enhanced, and Enterprise: $150/request
RAW 60+: $150/request plus an additional 2 business days based on the production level of your episode

Revision Requests

Revision request fees for audio production are charged based on the number of minutes our team spends on the request(s). We will provide you 10 minutes of revisions without cost for each episode. Beginning at minute 11, the rate will be $2.50/per minute ($150/per hour) spent. A revision requiring 10 minutes or less would be free of charge. Exceptions will be any issues that were clearly requested at the time of submission that our team overlooked or did not deliver with additional exceptions granted for clients using Resonate Producer Services.

Posting

You may request that Resonate assist you in posting your final audio to your hosting platform. Since we provide simple 1-click integrations with several of the most popular hosting platforms, our team is able to help you learn how to use these integrations or we can manually post your episodes for an additional fee of $39/episode. Our current 1-click integrations include Libsyn, PodBean, and Buzzsprout. If you are using Resonate Hosting there is no additional charge for posting your episodes.

Video Production

RAW Overage

RAW overage fees for Basic Video and Advanced Video production:

Our pricing is based on podcast episodes with RAW audio/video length 60 minutes or less. RAW podcast audio and video that will be edited by Resonate (not including reusable assets such as intro or outro audio) greater than 60 minutes is subject to a $30 charge for each additional 15 minutes of RAW audio/video, plus an additional 2 business days based on the production level of your episode.

61 to 75 mins. = $30 surcharge
76 to 90 mins. = $60 surcharge
91 to 105 mins. = $90 surcharge
106 to 120 mins. = $120 surcharge

Rush Requests

You may request a rushed turnaround of your video production at the time of submission. A rush request is not guaranteed and is subject to Resonate Recordings’ production capacity at the time of submission. If your rush request can not be delivered then the rush fee will be credited to your account. Delivery of an episode master sooner than the standard turnaround time for the production level of your episode will constitute a rushed delivery. Rush fees for video production are as follows:

Basic Video: $75/request
Advanced Video: $150/request
RAW 60+: $150/request plus an additional 2 business days based on the production level of your episode

Revision Requests

Revision request fees for Basic Video and Advanced Video production are charged based on the number of minutes our team spends on the request(s). We will provide you 10 minutes of revisions without cost. After the 10 minute grace period, the rate will be $5/per minute ($300/per hour) spent. A revision requiring 10 minutes would be charged as $50 (10 minutes x $5/minute). Exceptions to this fee will be edit or mixing issues that you clearly requested at the time of original submission that Resonate overlooked or did not deliver.

Posting

You may request that Resonate assist you in posting your final video to your YouTube page, Vimeo page or website. Our team is able to help you learn how to post your episodes to these platforms or we can manually post your episodes for an additional fee of $39/episode or $49/episode for 2+ platforms.

Website Design

Rush Requests

Delivery timelines for Basic Website and Custom Website builds will be based on your correspondence with the Resonate Recordings team through the sales and onboarding process. While we formally request at least 2 weeks (240 business hours not including weekends or Resonate Recordings holidays or development days) for this creative process, we are happy to expedite these processes as we are able, when needed. While we cannot guarantee an expedited turnaround on creative content, please speak to a Resonate Recordings representative to learn what options you may have. In general, we bill at an hourly rate of $125/hour for expediting website production.

Revision Requests

Revision requests for Basic Website and Custom Website builds are charged based on the number of minutes our team spends on the request(s) at a rate of $125/hour.

Posting and Maintenance

You may request that Resonate assist you in posting your final audio, video, and written copy to your website. Our team is able to help you learn how to post your episodes to your website or we can manually post your episodes for an additional fee of $39/episode which applies to all Resonate services you utilize. Additionally, we offer ongoing posting and maintenance of your website which includes unlimited posting (outside of episode content), basic updates, and maintenance for $1,000/month.

Add-Ons (Show Notes, Social Content)

Rush Requests

You may request a rushed turnaround of your Show Notes, Social Images, Audiograms, or Transcriptions production at the time of submission. A rush request is not guaranteed and is subject to Resonate Recordings’ production capacity at the time of submission. If your rush request can not be delivered then the rush fee will be credited to your account. Delivery of your content sooner than the standard turnaround time will constitute a rushed delivery. Rush requests for all add-ons will be $75/asset per episode. For an episode with a rush request for an Audiogram and Basic Show Notes, the rush request processed would be $150.

Revision Requests

Revision requests for Show Notes, Social Images, Audiograms, or Transcriptions may be requested after you review the original asset provided to you. If the revision requested is to amend a mistake that the Resonate Recordings team made, no revision charges will be applied. If the revision requested is for preferential, formatting, or creative issues, then you may be charged an additional fee at the same $2.08/minute or $125/hour rate as out additional production, up to the cost of a new asset.

Show notes Overage

Our pricing is based on the production of show notes with an audio length of 60 minutes or less. Episodes with audio that is greater than 60 minutes are subject to a $12.50 charge for each additional 15 minutes of audio.

1 to 60 mins. = no surcharge
61 to 75 mins. = $12.50 surcharge
76 to 90 mins. = $25 surcharge
91 to 105 mins. = $37.50 surcharge
106 to 120 mins. = $50 surcharge
121 to 135 mins. = $62.50 surcharge
136 to 150 mins. = $75 surcharge
151 to 165 mins. = $87.50 surcharge
166 to 180 mins. = $100 surcharge
181+ mins. is subject to approval by Resonate Recordings prior to production

Creative Content (Artwork, Music, and Voiceover)

Podcast Artwork Revision Requests

Revision requests for Podcast Artwork may be requested after you review the original asset provided to you. If the revision requested is to amend a mistake that the Resonate Recordings team made, no revision charges will be applied. If the revision requested is for preferential, formatting, or creative issues, then you may be charged an additional fee, at the same $2.08/minute or $125/hour rate as out additional production, up to the cost of a new asset. If you have approved a Podcast Artwork design and later request to make a revision, you may be charged a $100 revision fee or the cost of a new asset ($625), depending on your request.

Custom Podcast Artwork Revision Requests

Revision requests for Custom Podcast Artwork may be requested after you review the original asset provided to you. If the revision requested is to amend a mistake that the Resonate Recordings team made, no revision charges will be applied. If the revision requested is for preferential, formatting, or creative issues, then you may be charged an additional revision fee which will be billed at $125/hour. If you have approved a Custom Podcast Artwork design and later request to make a revision or replacement, you may be billed for the revision fee at the listed $125/hour rate or the cost of a new asset ($1,499), depending on your request.

Podcast Music Alternate Requests

Alternate music selection requests for Podcast Music may be requested throughout the creative collaboration process. If you have approved a Podcast Music selection and later request a replacement or alternate music selection, you will be billed the cost of a new asset ($499).

Custom Podcast Music Revision Requests

Revision requests for Custom Music may be requested throughout the creative collaboration process. If the revision requested is to amend a mistake that the Resonate Recordings team made, no revision charges will be applied. If the revision requested is for preferential or creative issues, then you may be charged an additional revision fee which will be billed at $125/hour. If you have approved a Custom Music design and later request to make a revision or replacement, you may be billed for the revision fee at the listed $125/hour rate or the cost of a new asset ($1,499), depending on your request.

Voiceover Revision Requests

Revision requests for Voiceovers may be requested throughout the creative collaboration process. If the revision requested is to amend a mistake that the Resonate Recordings team made, no revision charges will be applied. If the revision requested is for preferential or creative issues, then you may be charged an additional revision fee based on the contracted artist’s rate, or the cost of a new asset ($399), depending on your request and the terms and conditions of the artist selected.

3. Responsibilities of Resonate Recordings

Audio Production

For all audio production service levels (Standard, Premium, Enhanced, Enterprise, Custom and Podcast Audio Trailer), Resonate Recordings will:

Download your RAW audio file(s) using your profile in the Resonate app
Provide audio production enhancements, including equalization, dynamic balancing, and background noise reduction
Raise or lower the overall audio levels in requirement with audio broadcast standards
Remove any dead space at the beginning and end of the recording
Mix in the pre-recorded intro and outro audio recording
Mix the final episode master to high quality MP3
Deliver the final episode master in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times)
Upload your final episode master to the Resonate app
Perform all services in a professional manner consistent with the highest industry standards

For Premium, Enhanced, Enterprise, Custom and Podcast Audio Trailer audio production service levels, Resonate Recordings will:

Edit out unwanted parts such as false starts, throat clearing, coughs, sneezes, long pauses, heavy breathing, um’s, ah’s, and other accidental sounds or mistakes in the RAW recording
Review entire recording and create a smooth flowing conversation so that edits are not noticeable

For Custom audio production service level, Resonate Recordings will:

Schedule an initial creative collaboration call with an engineer to clarify the creative vision for the project and learn more about your preferences for music and sound design elements
Work with you to develop a production workflow that best matches your specific needs

For Enhanced, Custom, and Podcast Trailer (Audio) production service levels, Resonate recordings will:

Work with you to create content built to meet your creative vision
Provide you a comprehensive questionnaire or collaborative call to acquire the creative details needed to create your content

Video Production

For all video production service levels (Basic, Advanced and Podcast Video Trailer), Resonate Recordings will:

Provide you a comprehensive questionnaire to acquire the details needed to complete our production process
Download your RAW audio and video file(s) using your profile in the Resonate app
Provide audio production enhancements, including equalization, dynamic balancing, and background noise reduction
Raise or lower the overall audio levels in requirement with audio broadcast standards
Remove any dead space at the beginning and end of the recording
Mix in any pre-recorded intro and outro audio recording
Transcode all video clips to a unified frame rate, aspect ratio, and codec
Set white balance and color correct all clips to a similar exposure level and contrast ratio
Match the mixed audio to the video
Color grade each clip to fit the feel of your specific podcast
Add in bumpers, images, or animations as requested and according to the level of service
Render the final episode master to high quality MP4
Deliver the final episode master in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround section)
Upload the final episode master to a shared Vimeo folder or private YouTube channel and share the link in the Resonate app
Perform all services in a professional manner consistent with the highest industry standards

For Basic Video production service, Resonate Recordings will:

Create (one-time) a reusable intro/outro bumper (additional intro/outro bumpers can be created at additional cost, billed as a revision)
Edit up to (10) specified points in the video (when timestamps are provided)
Provide up to (5) lower thirds or basic animations
Perform standard color grading and color correction
Export the final video master at 1080p resolution

For Advanced Video production service, Resonate Recordings will:

Create (one-time) a reusable intro/outro bumper (additional intro/outro bumpers can be created at additional cost, billed as a revision)
Perform unlimited editing of the video (with content editing when timestamps are provided)
Provide unlimited lower thirds or basic animations as directed
Perform professional color grading and color correction
Provide additional transitions and effects as requested
Provide additional infographics or images as requested (with assets provided)
Export the final video master at 4K resolution

For Podcast Trailer (Video), Resonate Recordings will:

Work with you to create a podcast trailer built to meet your creative vision
Provide you a comprehensive questionnaire to acquire the creative details needed to create your trailer

Website Design

For all website creation services (Basic Website, Custom Website), Resonate Recordings will:

Work with you to create a podcast website built to meet your creative vision
Share multiple template options for your review to create your podcast website
Provide you a comprehensive questionnaire to acquire the details needed to create your website
Identify pre-determined checkpoints for you to review the progress of your website and allow you to provide clear instruction for changes
Set up SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol security for your website
Automate a daily backup of the website
Provide the option for automated episode posting of your episode masters from the podcast hosting platform (where applicable)
Create an “Episodes Page” for your podcast episodes, with all embed players and titles, descriptions or show notes for episodes used in your podcast’s launch
Create “Subscribe” buttons to all the major podcast directories including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Audible, Overcast, and others upon request
Create a “Contact Form” for capturing site visitor emails
Provide the option for an automated Mailchimp email setup (where applicable)
Train you on manually posting ongoing podcast content to your website or provide you with posting services (additional charges may apply)

For Custom Website creation services, Resonate Recordings will:

Create an “About Page” for your website, using the written copy provided
Create an “Episodes Page” for your podcast episodes, with all embed players and titles, descriptions or show notes for episodes used in your podcast’s launch
Create a “Contact Page” with an email address and contact information you provide
Design custom graphics for your website (additional charges may apply)
Optimize website for speed and on-page SEO standards upon initial setup

For website hosting services, Resonate Recordings will:

Host your podcast website

For ongoing website posting and maintenance services, Resonate Recordings will:

Offer unlimited content posting as well as basic updates and maintenance

Show Notes and Social Content

For Basic Show Notes, Resonate Recordings will:

Wait to create the content until the episode master is approved in the Resonate app
Provide a simplified SEO-rich summary of an episode’s content (roughly ½ – ⅔ page of written content)
Research and provide relevant outbound links for the host and the episode guest(s), including websites, social accounts, and relevant bios
Research and provide (when feasible) relevant outbound links for all resources mentioned in the episode, including third party websites, articles, themes or persons of interest
Work with you to provide customized formatting based on your specific needs and preferences
Provide both PDF and .doc assets (unless otherwise specified)
Deliver the final asset(s) in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times section)
Upload the final asset(s) to the Resonate app

For Advanced Show Notes, Resonate Recordings will:

Wait to create the content until the episode master is approved in the Resonate app
Provide a more comprehensive SEO-rich summary of an episode’s content (roughly 1-1 ¼ pages of written content)
Create a time-stamped list of key takeaways from the episode
Research and provide (when feasible) relevant outbound links for the host and the episode guest(s), including website, social accounts, and relevant bios
Compile a list of up to 20 SEO-targeted keywords based on the episode(s) main themes
Work with you to provide customized formatting based on your specific needs and preferences
Provide both PDF and .doc assets (unless otherwise specified)
Deliver the final asset(s) in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times section)
Upload the final asset(s) to the Resonate app

For Social Images, Resonate Recordings will:

Wait to create the content until the episode master is approved in the Resonate app
Provide an image that can be used to promote the podcast episode on social media with either:
- A key quote from the podcast episode OR
- The images of the podcast host and guest with the podcast name, episode name, and number
Default to choosing a key quote unless alternate direction is provided to our team in writing prior to creating the asset
Default to using your podcast artwork unless you provide a specific image or template concept for our team to use
Default the image specs to 1080×1080 for use across multiple platforms unless otherwise instructed (if multiple specs are requested, an additional expense will be incurred)
*Note: the recommended specs for each social platform are:
- Twitter (1024×512)
- Instagram Feed (1500×1500)
- Instagram Story (1080×1920)
- IGTV (1920×1080) or (1080×1920)
- LinkedIn (1200 x 720, 1920×1080)
Provide the final asset in .JPEG format
Deliver the final asset(s) in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times)
Upload the final asset(s) to the Resonate app

For Audiograms, Resonate Recordings will:

Wait to create the content until the episode master is approved in the Resonate app
Provide a paired still image with a dynamic waveform and an audio clip from the podcast episode that can be used to promote the podcast on social media
Choose the audio clip to be used unless you provide the timestamps to our team in writing prior to creating the asset
Default to using your podcast artwork unless you provide a specific image or template concept for our team to use
Default the image specs to 1080×1080 for use across multiple platforms unless otherwise instructed (if multiple specs are requested, an additional expense is incurred)
*Note: the recommended specs for each social platform are:
- Twitter (1024×512)
- Instagram Feed (1500×1500)
- Instagram Story (1080×1920)
- IGTV (1920×1080) or (1080×1920)
- LinkedIn (1200 x 720, 1920×1080
Provide the final asset in MP4 format
Deliver the final asset(s) in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times)
Upload the final asset(s) to the Resonate app

For Transcriptions, Resonate Recordings will:

Wait to create the content until the episode master is approved in the Resonate app
Provide a simple, formatted, word-for-word transcription of the approved episode master (unless otherwise specified)
Provide both PDF and .doc assets
Deliver the final asset(s) in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times)
Upload the final asset(s) to the Resonate app

Artwork, Music, and Voiceover

For Podcast Music, Resonate Recordings will:

Work with you to choose a song that best fits your podcast from our current library of music, and extend a license to you for as long as you are using our production services
Provide you a comprehensive questionnaire to acquire the details needed to identify songs that will best fit creatively with your podcast
Share 3-5 songs initially for your review
Share an additional 1-2 songs for final review and approval
Deliver the asset(s) in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times)
Share all asset(s) to the Resonate app
Provide the final asset as an MP3 file
Mix the final music selection (up to 60 seconds) with any voiceover recording to create a reusable intro and outro podcast bumper for your podcast episodes

For Custom Podcast Music, Resonate Recordings will:

Work with you to create a custom song produced for the intro and outro of your podcast, licensed exclusively to you.
Provide you a comprehensive questionnaire to acquire the details needed to create a song that will best fit creatively with your podcast
Share (4) 20-second sample cues initially for your review
Share an additional working concept of the song selected for final review and approval
Provide a final 60-second track for use in the podcast intro and outro
Deliver the asset(s) in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times)
Share all asset(s) to the Resonate app
Provide the final asset as an MP3 file
Mix the final music selection (up to 60 seconds) with any voiceover recording to create a reusable intro and outro podcast bumper for your podcast episodes

For Podcast Artwork, Resonate Recordings will:

Work with you to create a simplified design for your podcast cover art for use on all podcast distribution and social platforms
Provide you with sample templates to choose one theme from to create a simplified design (if multiple templates are requested, an additional expense is incurred)
Default the image spec to 3000×3000 for use across multiple platforms unless otherwise instructed (if multiple specs are requested, an additional expense is incurred)
Allow for one round of simplified revisions to the concept
Provide the final asset as a JPG or PNG file
Deliver the final asset(s) in accordance with
appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times)
Upload the final asset(s) to the Resonate app

For Custom Podcast Artwork, Resonate Recordings will:

Work with you to create a custom design for your podcast cover art for use on all podcast distribution and social platforms
Provide you a comprehensive questionnaire to acquire the details needed to create a custom design that will best fit creatively with your podcast
Share (2) simplified concepts initially for your review
Share an additional working concept of a design for final review and approval
Provide the final asset as a PNG file
Deliver the final asset(s) in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times)
Upload the final asset(s) to the Resonate app

For Voiceover Recordings, Resonate Recordings will:

Work with you to record a professional voiceover for your podcast intro, outro or other narrative section of the podcast
Provide you a simplified questionnaire to acquire the details needed to identify the voiceover artist that will best fit creatively with your podcast
Share 3-5 voiceover samples initially for your review
Work with the artist of your choice to record your scripted content
Share all asset(s) to the Resonate app
Provide the final asset as an MP3 file
Deliver the final asset(s) in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times)
Upload the final asset(s) to the Resonate app

Mix in the Voiceover with your Podcast Music to create your intro/outro bumper or in the appropriate segment of your episode audio

Podcast Distribution (Hosting, RSS Feed, Distribution)

For Podcast Hosting & RSS Feed Setup, Resonate Recordings will:

Work with you to identify the best hosting platform based on the needs for your podcast
Provide you a comprehensive questionnaire to acquire the details needed to set up your podcast hosting platform
Submit all content identified as part of your podcast’s launch (including approved audio, written copy, and images) to the hosting platform to establish the RSS feed and enable the feed to be submitted to the listening directories for approval
Submit the podcast RSS feed to Apple Podcasts, Google Play/Google Podcasts, Spotify, Audible, and TuneIn
Submission to additional directories (of your choosing) is possible for an additional fee (see details under additional fees)
Liaise on your behalf with each podcast directory to ensure the submission and approval is completed appropriately
Implement automation between the hosting platform and your podcast website (where applicable)
Provide you written updates (with links) for each of the directories as you are approved
Complete the setup process in accordance with appropriate turnaround time (see details under turnaround times)

4. Responsibilities of Client

General

Upon signing up for Resonate Recording’s services, you agree to:

Abide by the Terms of Service agreement
Familiarize yourself with our Service Details Overview
Pay for services before your production begins
Collaborate with the Resonate Recordings team to complete your New Client Profile in the Resonate app
Set up an onboarding call with Resonate Recordings to ensure you are familiar with Resonate’s production processes and how to share content in the Resonate app
Provide clear, written direction about your production as required

Audio Production

For all audio production service levels (Standard, Premium, Enhanced, Enterprise and Podcast Audio Trailer), you agree to:

Record your podcast content including intro/outro segments, interviews or narration segments, ads or commercials to be used in your production
Upload all of your content (including intro/outro segments, music, dialogue tracks, manuscript or editing document and any other needed files) to the Resonate app prior to Resonate starting your production
Upload all audio content in WAV or MP3 formats or with a pre-discussed “session” file type from an audio DAW
Reach out to a Resonate team member prior to submitting your content if you are unable to submit the content as requested
Upload content that will be used on a regular, recurring basis to your Reusable Assets page in the Resonate app
Upload only the content to be used for each episode in each episode’s folder in the Resonate app
Clearly label each file submitted in the Resonate app so that it is clear to the Resonate team what each file is (ie: Host Track, Guest Track, Intro, Outro, etc.)
Describe the episode layout and production expectations from Resonate and communicate if there are any special instructions for each individual episode in the Resonate app
Provide, when possible, a clearly written script, manuscript or written direction for the Resonate team to use for the production of your episode
Select the appropriate return date on your episode, understanding that a return time sooner than our standard turnaround time is not guaranteed and will depend on Resonate capacity and will incur an additional rush fee charge
Request any revisions to your episode in the Resonate app by leaving clear instructions about the revision required (including timestamps for changes needing to be made) and selecting “Request revision to the episode master” under the comment box
Approve each episode in the Resonate app by selecting the “Approve” button under the episode master to finalize the episode’s production and begin the process for any add-on services (such as Show Notes and Social Content)
Clearly communicate with the Resonate team if Resonate will be responsible for posting the episode master to your hosting platform after the episode is approved as well as the time and date each episode will need to be posted. *Please keep in mind that there may be a delay from the time the episode is uploaded in the hosting platform and when it is live in each directory
Abide by the processes communicated here, knowing that the production of your audio or additional content may be delayed if you do not do so
Allow Resonate Recordings to add the necessary additional charges (as they may be incurred) for each episode to your episode invoice and use your stored payment method to satisfy all charges prior to or upon completing each episode

For all Custom production service level, you agree to:

Provide clear creative direction to Resonate Recordings for the production of your content, including music and sound design elements to be used in the production process
Provide timely review and approval of your content at each stage of the production process before Resonate Recordings will continue your production
Allow Resonate Recordings to bill you for all hours spent on your production (or provide you with a monthly invoice if requested) which will need to be satisfied before further production can be completed

Video Production

For all video production service levels (Basic, Advanced and Podcast Video Trailer), you agree to:

Submit the questionnaire with all the pertinent details to the Resonate team prior to beginning your production
Record your podcast content including intro/outro segments, interviews or narration segments, ads or commercials to be used in your production
Upload all of your content (including intro/outro segments, music, dialogue tracks, manuscript or editing document and any other needed files) to the Resonate app prior to Resonate starting your production
Upload all audio content in .MOV or MP4 formats or with a pre-discussed “session” file type from another platform
Reach out to a Resonate team member prior to submitting your content if you are unable to submit the content as requested
Upload content that will be used on a regular, recurring basis to your Reusable Assets folder in the Resonate app
Upload only the content to be used for each episode in each episode’s folder in the Resonate app
Provide clear creative direction to Resonate Recordings for the production of your content, including music and animation elements to be used in the production process
Describe the episode layout and production expectations from Resonate and communicate if there are any special instructions for each individual episode in the Resonate app
Provide, when possible, a clearly written script, manuscript or written direction for the Resonate team to use for the production of your episode
Select the appropriate return date on your episode, understanding that a return time sooner than our standard turnaround time is not guaranteed and will depend on Resonate capacity and will incur an additional rush fee charge
Request any revisions to your episode in Vimeo by following the instruction provided in our tutorial video and then leaving a corresponding comment in the Resonate app to inform our team about your revision request
Approve each episode in the Resonate app by commenting in the Resonate app or selecting the “Approve” button under the episode master to finalize the episode’s production and begin the process for any add-on services (such as show notes and social content)
Clearly communicate with the Resonate team if Resonate will be responsible for posting the episode master to any platform after the episode is approved
Abide by the processes communicated here, knowing that the production of your audio, video or additional content may be delayed if you do not do so
Allow Resonate Recordings to add the necessary additional charges (as they may be incurred) for each episode to your episode invoice and use your stored payment method to satisfy all charged prior to or upon completing each episode

Website Design

For all website creation services (Basic Website and Custom Website), you agree to:

Provide clear direction regarding the creative elements of your website
Choose the appropriate template design for your website creation
Provide the details needed in the questionnaire for Resonate Recordings to create your website
Review your website at the predetermined checkpoints and provide clear, written instruction for changes and revisions
Notify Resonate Recordings if you would like to automate your episode posting from your hosting platform (where applicable)
Provide a listing of platforms and correlating URLs for all desired “Subscribe” buttons
Notify Resonate Recordings if you would like to have an automated Mailchimp email setup
Provide all written copy for all appropriate pages of your website (where applicable)
Provide all images and creative elements for all appropriate pages of your website (where applicable)
Provide all contact information (email and phone number) to be listed on your website
Clearly communicate if you would like Resonate Recordings to post your episodes to your website (additional charges may apply)

Add-Ons (Show Notes, Social Content)

For all Add-On services (Basic Show Notes, Advanced Show Notes, Social Images, Audiograms, and Transcription), you agree to:

Approve each episode master in the Resonate app to allow Resonate Recordings to create and deliver all add-on assets, understanding that not doing so (or delaying to do so) will prolong the delivery of your add-ons
Provide clear written direction on formatting for all written content (show notes, transcription) and creative content (social images and audiograms) or if not provided, allow Resonate Recordings to provide content to you in a standardized format
Provide all images to be used for social images and audiograms, or if not provided, allow Resonate Recordings to default to using your podcast artwork or a standardized template
Provide requested image specs to be used for social images and audiograms, or if not provided, allow Resonate Recordings to default to using a standardized 1080×1080 format
Provide the specific written copy for key quote social images or specific timestamps of audio for audiograms, or if not provided, allow Resonate Recordings to use their creative discretion
Accept additional charges that may be incurred for revision requests to your content if clear creative direction or preferences are not provided prior to creating your content

Artwork, Music, and Voiceover

For all Creative Content services (Podcast Artwork, Custom Podcast Artwork, Podcast Music, Custom Podcast Music, and Voiceover), you agree to:

Work with Resonate Recordings to provide you these services for your podcast
Provide the details needed in the questionnaire(s) for Resonate Recordings to create your assets
Review your assets at the predetermined checkpoints and provide clear, written instruction for changes and revisions
Accept additional charges that may be incurred for revision requests to your assets based on the request

Podcast Distribution (Hosting, RSS Feed, Distribution)

For Podcast Hosting & RSS Feed Setup, you agree to:

Work with Resonate Recordings to determine the best hosting platform and directories for your podcast distribution
Provide the details needed in the questionnaire(s) for Resonate Recordings to complete your hosting setup, RSS feed submission, and directory approval in a timely manner, in keeping with your intended launch date
Approve all content needed for your podcast launch (including approved audio, written copy, and images) in a timely manner, in keeping with your intended launch date
Provide Resonate Recordings at least 2 weeks after the approval of all required content to set up your hosting platform and submit your RSS feed to all designated directories prior to your official launch date
Work with Resonate Recordings through your hosting and distribution setup to provide us all necessary details and content to expedite your setup

Remote Recording Support

For Remote Recording Support, you agree to the following Cancellation Policy:

You may cancel your session up to 48 hours before the recording time and reallocate to another date/time without penalty
If the session is cancelled or rescheduled within 48 of the recording time you will be required to pay the full cost for the recording session
