Hi Resonate Community!
Thank you for being a part of our community and trusting us to work on your podcast. At Resonate, we have been working very hard to improve your experience. One way we are doing this is by updating our web app to meet podcasting where it is today and prepare for where it’s headed in the future.
When our web app was created it was created for an audio-only podcasting world. Over the last several years podcasting has grown to include video, social media assets, and more. You, as our customer, know that there are limitations to our software and how it tracks everything you have purchased. To address these issues we have been rebuilding the app and several parts of its core functionality are ready to be released.
At the same time, we are taking this opportunity to reset our credit system & naming of our offered services. Our hope is to bring more clarity to the levels of service & what is included in each tier.
One of the biggest changes is that video is no longer an “add-on” but rather a credit type. All video credits will include the audio edit, but each episode only needs 1 credit. Either an audio credit for an audio only episode – OR – a video credit for an episode that is both audio and video. Audio is required to be edited on every video, and therefore we aligned these items into 1 credit.
*NOTE* The App may temporarily experience downtime in this process, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or support here if you experience issues.

New Credit Level Breakdown:
As you can see in the audio credits, we have combined the level of Premium & Enhanced back into 1 level of service. The Plus level is most similar to what enhanced level was and premium & enhanced were not different enough to justify having both. Custom clients still have their own service level but it is not available for purchase within the web app, a sales representative or customer success manager must assist in the addition of these credits.
The next big change is that every product will now be considered a “credit” of that type and you can apply them to an episode as needed. Show notes, videograms, audiograms, rush fees, nearly everything… you will be able to see ALL of your available credits on your home page.

Gone are the days of a check box “add-on” of videograms, instead you will be able to see that you purchased 4 videograms per episode and apply those credits to your episode. Each asset that is applied to an episode will have its own progress tracker, approval and revision buttons!

Both on the Overview page and episode pages, you will see icons for each episode indicating where it is in the process. Each icon is accompanied by a written description telling you when action is needed, or if you are waiting on Resonate.

Beyond these major items, most things are the same as before. We will begin our next phase of app updates soon, and we would love to hear your feedback on what would be useful for you and improve your experience!
