OUR TEAM

Jacob Bozarth

Jacob earned a Bachelor of Science in Recording Industry from Middle Tennessee State University in May 2011. He founded Resonate Recordings in 2014 with Mark Owens and they set out to apply their audio experience by helping podcasters improve the quality of their podcasts. Since founding Resonate, Jacob has partnered with over 30+ podcasters and worked very closely with many podcasts that have been in the top charts on iTunes and Stitcher. Jacob also earned a Master of Arts from Southern Seminary in 2014. Jacob and his wife live in Louisville, KY with their two children. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family, working on cars, being in the great outdoors, and trying new local restaurants.

Mark Owens

Mark earned a Master of Arts in Recording Arts and Technology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2012. Mark developed an interest in audio engineering in undergrad when studying music at Columbus State University. In 2012 Mark went on to become an adjunct professor at MTSU teaching classes in the recording industry department. Mark now teaches recording classes at Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. Mark has engineered and mixed many recordings in the Nashville, TN and Louisville, KY area. Mark lives in Louisville, KY and currently works for Sojourn Network. In his free time he enjoys reading, working out, playing golf, watching baseball and hanging out with friends and family.

Dayton Cole

Dayton earned a Bachelor of Science in Recording and Production from Appalachian State University. His interest in recording began at the early age of 12 when he learned how to record himself playing guitar. Dayton has been an audio and mixing engineer at well known studios in Boone, NC, Franklin, TN, and Louisville, KY. Dayton recently recorded and edited a string arrangement for a #1 Billboard chart. He also did sound design and mixing for the feature film, The Song, which had a nationwide theatrical release. Dayton and his wife currently live in Louisville, KY. In his free time he enjoys cooking for his wife. He is an avid cheesecake baker and has a weakness for chocolate.
